Covergirl Kendall Placing Vogue Under Fire; The Indian Anniversary Edition That's Divided Fashion.

Kendall Jenner is no doubt a beautiful woman, a social media powerhouse, a well-versed model and of late, the centre of controversy.

As a member of possibly the world's most socially influential family, Kendall is no stranger to being the centre of attention and a focal point to many people's thoughts and opinions as well as their distastes and satisfactions.

It comes with the territory that Kendall Jenner would be the centre of scrutiny amongst the praise and appreciation of her beauty. However, the latest controversy to swarm Jenner is around just that, her beauty.

The latest issue of Vogue India sees Kendall on the front cover looking stunning in a Black YSL Lace Dress. The cover which is in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Vogue India, has been surrounded by controversy since it's release.

The cover which was beautifully shot at the Samode Palace, just outside of Jaipur by the world renowned fashion photographer, Mario Testino is undoubtably, a work of art.

Social Media has not been kind to Miss Jenner after the release, with a barrage of opinions being executed amongst the social media platforms Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, it would appear that the choice to use Jenner has deeply offended the Indian People as well as those worldwide who identify with the choice to use Kendall is well, questionable.

The editorial which also features Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Sushant Singh has been brought into question based on the validity of Jenner's entitlement to be featured.

Some of the comments posted under the Twitter feed have enlightened readers to their disappointment and disapproval, comments that include;

Some readers also went on the comment such things like "But you people chose a skinny famous for nothing white girl.”and perhaps one of the most powerful comments yet to which one reader stated, “beyond insulting to every Indian person and everyone else in the world that sees how messed up it is that you’re trying to celebrate Indian culture and fashion with a white person.”

Whether you love or hate Kendall there is no denying that in recent times the controversy surrounding her infamous Pepsi commercial and now this Vogue shoot, has landed her in a rising tide of public outcry for reasons that point towards her inconsideration for cultural boundaries and her inability to respect the sanctity of something sacred as appose to earning millions of dollars of endorsements from looking beautiful.

This cover has divided the Eyes of Solotica girls opinions. Some are for, some are against and the rest do not have an opinion, just an appreciation for the fashion. It seems that no matter what this girl does, she leaves a footprint in the sand.
