Cara Delevigne; A Fashion Icon Defining What Beauty Feels Like.

Cara Delevingne is better known as a model, a style muse, a style icon and one of the Brit packs "cool girls".
In recent years Cara's career has skyrocketed after show became the Chanel muse for none-other than Karl Lagerfeld.

However, in recent weeks we have seen Cara transform in a different way. It would appear that Cara is almost regressing in a bid to show the industry in which she has grown in, that it is no longer living up to her expectations.

Just recently Cara took to Instagram to unleash her opinion in two powerful photos. In the first photo she is dressed head-to-toe in Chanel for the Met Gala and in the second, she is dressed down in a sweatshirt and without makeup. Now to some, those images may sound just standard of a model on-duty and a model off-duty, yet it's the captions that accompanied them that truly transpire.

In a summary of both captions, Cara simply goes on to elaborate on her definition of beauty and how the society in which we have created, have a f*cked up view of what beauty should be. "The more we embrace who we are as people and rely less on our physical attributes, the more empowered we become."

Cara Delevigne has always been her own woman, she has always had an empowered spirit about her, she is almost a mystery wrapped in a beautiful shell. She is an advocate for many things in her life yet i think this is the most powerful and meaningful one yet. In a world where beauty is a dictator and it's women such as herself that we admire, it's comforting to know there is a little humility amongst them.

The girls in the Eyes of Solotica office are relishing in the fact that a woman at the height of the fashion industry is finally giving us, the consumers of that industry, a little recognition. Girl power all the way we say...

"Beauty shouldn't be so easily defined. It is limitless,"
